Cynthia Martinez: blogger, runner, world traveler
Running has been part apart of my life since I was ten, when my dad would bring me alongside him during his evening jogs. I always enjoyed entering myself in the local 5k, and that was about as far as I would ever run, until I had this crazy desire to conquer a marathon. I completed my first marathon in 2008 in the windy city of Chicago with a time of 3:49 minutes. I’m now a fanatic who loves lacing up my sneakers and hitting the pavement in Central Park. Globetrotting is my second love! I have been to 21 countries. I’ve yachted through the Mediterranean Sea, rode a bike down a volcano in Hawaii, hiked on the soil of the Greek Isles, and had the unique pleasure of experiencing what it’s like to have a Turkish bath in Istanbul. I’m a Pure Michigan gal, born and bred, but became a Manhattan transplant in the fall of 2008, besides a short stint of living in Miami this past year. The concrete jungle is where I call home. I live in Midtown Manhattan just a stone’s throw from what I like to call my sanctuary, Central Park. http://runningaroundtheglobe.com/

Mike Riordan is a native New Yorker and personal trainer. After hearing from clients who traveled a lot for business that they 1) never got to see anything good when visiting the places they traveled to because they were stuck in conference rooms all day long and 2)they had a tough time sticking to their workouts b/c hotel gyms suck, he wondered how many people were feeling the same way when coming to NYC. This is what led to the creation of Fit Tours NYC, a creative combination of sightseeing and exercise in Central Park! We offer guided runs, Yoga Walks, and high intensity workouts that all involve exploring the most interesting and iconic sights in the Park. We can be found on Instagram ( @fittoursnyc ) and Facebook ( Fit Tours NYC ) and our website is www.FitToursNYC.com
Hey you all,
this is your favorite song, Matt Song, and I'm a fitness-professional-professionally-fitnessing. Anyways, quick backstory on me, I've bounced around a bit from Connecticut to Boston to Hawaii and currently New York City. I've been grinding ever since I was 16 where I worked at Walmart as my first gig and every year since then I've been employed somewhere or had some sort of job. It honestly would feel weird if I wasn't working. Basketball was my first love and led me into the fitness realm. I also love DragonBall and if you don't know then we can't be friends. Training with me is being in a relationship with me. My day one motive is to find out what's important to you and relate fitness to that. We all have lives to live and fitness can help enhance the quality of life. Life is about embracing adversity and enjoying the journey. Oh and drink some whiskey. Cait Ghosio is a compassionate, ass kicking and inspiring Pilates instructor. She’ll make you move 2 inches and you will be shaking with effort. By drawing influence from strength training and her dance background, she is able create a session unique to each client that will have real affect in her clients’ daily lives and on their progress towards their fitness goals. Cait doesn’t fit into the mold of the usual Pilates instructor; she creates a positive and fun atmosphere, but adds in a twist with her quirky personality, jokes about food, and references to Beyoncé, Harry Potter and everything in between.
Cait is currently based at Equinox Bryant Park where she is a Senior Trainer and at Studio 26 where she sees clients privately. She completed her training with world-renowned Ellie Herman Pilates in Brooklyn, NY.
